STRENGTH IN UNITY:
Helping Communities Rise From Crisis

WELCOME TO SHELBY COUNTY VOAD

In recent years, natural disasters have become increasingly frequent and severe, devastating communities across the nation and leaving individuals, families, and entire regions in need of urgent help. Whether it’s hurricanes along our coastlines, wildfires raging through the West, or tornadoes ripping through towns in minutes, these events disrupt lives, destroy homes, and fracture communities. At Shelby County VOAD, we are committed to stepping up in these critical moments.

Our network is built on the foundation of collaboration, compassion, and unwavering dedication. From the moment a disaster strikes through the long road to rebuilding, VOAD’s purpose is to ensure that no community has to face disaster alone. By working together with nonprofits, faith-based groups, community organizations, and volunteers, we provide a safety net for communities in crisis.
